Every time I looked at my brother's gaming room at his house, I wanted to finish it. Sure, it looked great. It was set apart from the rest of the house. He had bookshelves lining the back wall, filled with board games and his video game collection spanning the generations of consoles. He had a gaming table in the middle of the room, he had a simple yet elegant video game section at the back of the room, in its own space. It was simple but I always wanted one that looked just like his. The wall across fromt he bookshelves had computer stations, complete with custom keyboards that sounded like a typewriter when you pushed the buttons. But the last wall, the one with the fridge always stocked with drinks and snacks, that wall had a large double window which was left totally open. He had no control over the amount of ambient, natural light coming in. So, with this collection, I sought to bring in treatments that controlled the light without detracting from the space. In the Gaming Collection, you will find the right treatment that handles the light while setting the tone. This collection focuses on cellular shades and roller shades, so you can have the smallest footprint with the biggest advantages.

Not to sound like a politician, but it depends. Cost of window treatments vary greatly depending on the options you choose. It's always best to have a realistic budget in mind before going through the process. Click the link below and find out how to get a rough budget in mind.
When it comes to budgeting for custom window treatments. There are many cost factors that come into play so let me try to help you get a rough idea of what your project cost could look like. Please be aware, though, that this is information is here in order for you to get a ballpark estimate. This is not a quote and your price per window can easily drop or increase based on your needs and selections.
This is easily one of the biggest factors and it's often overlooked. Let's say you have 10 windows and each of them are a 3' x 5' window (that's a standard-sized window). Now let's say you choose a treatment that comes to about $250 per window. Simple math says your project will cost $2500. More windows? Increase price. Less windows? Decrease price.
Another often overlooked factor are the sizes of the windows and doors being covered. Do not assume all windows and doors will cost the same if you have a wide array of sizes.
Not everyone needs the highest quality product in every window. In fact, most people don't. Typically, we are more concerned with the look, the use, and the overall quality being something that will last. Think about this, how many of us drive a Bugatti? Not too many. How many drive Fords? Quite a few! I don't need a Bugatti to get me to and from work, though I would certainly enjoy it, it's just not practical. That being said, Ford has a range of vehicles with their own quality levels and I can easily pick something from what they offer that will look great and last a long time!
If motorization is on the punch list then know that this will increase the price. But there are different forms of motorization, different motor quality considerations with different noise levels and life expectancies, and various motor size requirements and restrictions depending on the window size and shade material.
That being said, your motor itself can be a $99 to $500 add-on. To be safe, let's say you'll typically be in the $300 range.
Let's use the window size we mentioned above of 3' x 5'. That's a standard window size, 3 feet wide by 5 feet tall. Let's consider Cellular Shades, Roller Shades, and Faux Wood Blinds. We will shoot for middle of the road shades rather than top shelf or bottom shelf.
ROUGH ESTIMATED COSTS (add $300 per window for motorization)
- Cellular shades on a 3' x 5' window
$250 per window
- Roller shades on a 3' x 5' window
$350 per window
- Faux wood blinds on a 3' x 5' window
$200 per window
Your cost factors are meant to help you create a realistic budget. I will work with you, though, to find the right product, at the right price, the first time. We will discuss your overall goals, the look you want in your room, the function, and your budgetary needs, all on your first call.
I carry multiple manufacturers and am not tied to any franchise model so I have the ability to find what you need.
